Apple, 02 in the UK to drop iPhone pricing
Mobile Today is reporting that O2 and Carphone Warehouse in the UK will be reducing the cost of the Apple iPhone in its stores to GBP169 (US$334) as part of a limited special, down from its original pricing of GBP269 (US$531). The new pricing is said to be good only for the iPhone’s 8GB model and is supposedly set to start tomorrow (April 16) and last through June 1.
If true, O2’s price cut will come on the heels of T-Mobile’s price reduction of its iPhone.
