Widgetbox announces new iPhone widget gallery

Calfornia based Widgetbox, a widget directory company, released a new special gallery of widgets specially tailored for the iPhone.

The iPhone-friendly widgets can be easily added to the iPhone’s home screen for quick and simple access. Sixteen iPhone widgets are being offered initially, including a BART QuickPlanner tool for the Bay Area’s transport system, with more to follow.

Users will also be able to create their own custom iPhone widgets using Widgebox’s widget-building wizard. For information on creating widgets, go here.

Navigate to iPhone.widgetbox.com from your iPhone or iPod Touch to start up the Widgetbox directory.
