Apple releases iPhone SDK Beta 4 and firmware update
Apple has released yet another round of updates to its iPhone SDK and Firmware. The new update brings iPhone SDK Beta 4 and Firmware 2.0 5A258F to iPhone developers. The biggest change is Apple added OpenGL ES support in the SDK package, which provides 3D graphic support for gaming.
A note listed on Apple’s developer site says “The fourth beta version of the iPhone SDK includes Xcode IDE, iPhone simulator with Open GL ES support, Interface Builder, Instruments, frameworks and samples, compilers, and Shark analysis tool.”
