iPhone Investigator

Engadget claims to have gotten the scoop “on authority” about some new 3G Apple iPhone features. They have listed a number of details on the new device:

• it is gloss black from head to toe, and more rounded
• it’s a bit thicker than the original
• the headset port is now flush mounted
• real GPS on-board
• the volume control is chrome
• the battery still can’t be removed
• the display is the same as on the original

This description seems to jive with the photo that iPod Observer has posted (shown to the right).
