Apple welcomes international developers to iPhone Developer Program

iphone_launch_01It seems Apple has opened its borders to international developers for its iPhone Developer Program, which allows developers to access beta builds of the iPhone software, test code, and generate a digital certificate for iPhone applications.

Apple is reportedly now allowing UK developers to join its prestigious program for GBP59 (US$116), while a U.S. membership is US$99. The Apple website now states, “The iPhone Developer Program will initially be available to a limited number of developers during the beta period.” We suspect Apple will soon open the program to other countries, as well.
